CIEH Level 2 Award in Emergency First Aid in the Workplace

Who is it for?

This course is for any employee wanting to learn basic first aid, that will qualify them to act as the Appointed Person in the Workplace. This course is also suitable for those wishing to attend a general first aid course.

Course content: All candidates must be physically able to carry out the procedures detailed in the Course Outline. Candidates must be aware that they must attend all sessions to be eligible for assessment and certification.

Course Outline:

Roles and responsibilities
First-aid incidents
Unconscious casualties
Cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
Choking
Bleeding
Shock
Minor injuries

Duration: 6 hours.

Certification: CIEH Level 2 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work certificate. In addition to this each successful candidate will receive a wallet-sized ID card, stating that they are a qualified first aider. Certificate is valied for 3 years.
